Position Overview: The School of Health Sciences and Department of Public Health/Nutrition invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors to teach Introduction to Public Health, a required course in the health sciences curriculum. The course focuses on patterns of selected diseases in populations, causation of disease at the cell/physiological to social levels, disease prediction and prevention strategies. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s Degree and at least two years relevant experience teaching at the college level. The instructor should have the knowledge and skills to engage students in the many fields and topics related to public health. The Fall Semester 2019 will run September 3rd through December 18th. The course is scheduled to meet weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:50pm.
