Position Overview: The Department of Psychology invites applications to teach Introduction to Psychology beginning in the Fall of 2019.
Qualifications: MA/MS or PhD in Psychology, PhD preferred, with college-level teaching experience.

The following undergraduate courses are 4-credit courses. The fall semester starts on September 3rd, 2019 and runs through December 18th, 2019 (which includes a scheduled exam during finals week).
Adjuncts should be available to teach two day courses meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 to 9:15 and from 9:30 to 10:45 on both days.
Introduction to Psychology: Provides a general overview of the wide-ranging field of psychology. Students will explore major concepts and issues in the study of human thinking, feeling, and acting. These include biological foundations of behavior and experience, how people learn and develop, how individuals perceive the world, individual differences in behavior, social influence and social relations, the difference between normative and non-normative behavior, and approaches to therapy.
