Position Overview: The Psychology Department and Clinical Mental Health Counseling Graduate Program invites applications to teach Psychological Assessment in the Spring 2020 semester.
Qualifications: PhD in a related field, with college-level teaching experience. Graduate-level teaching experience preferred. Experience with administration and interpretation of intelligence, achievement, and personality assessments is required.

This graduate course is a 4-credit course. The spring semester starts on January 16th, 2020 and runs through May 8th, 2020.
Adjuncts should be available to teach on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 - 9:30 p.m. We are looking to hire an adjunct instructor for the following course: Psychological Assessment.
This course provides students with an understanding of the process of psychological assessment, in both group and individual modalities. Students will learn about the assessment of interest, career, personality, intelligence, achievement, and aptitude. In addition to this overview of the assessment process, students will learn about the conceptual underpinnings of assessment, including basic concepts like measures of central tendency, validity, reliability, norms, and criterion referenced tests. Ethical guidelines, issues of diversity, and procedural considerations will be discussed. Administration, scoring, and interpreting test results for report writing will be considered, along with the writing of assessment reports.
