Position Overview: The Mathematics Department invites applications for one or more adjunct instructor positions for the Fall 2020 term. An M.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field and prior college-level teaching is required. 

Courses: MTH1111 Basic Statistics (two sections), possibly other introductory courses

Dates: Monday, August 24, 2020 - Tuesday, December 8, 2020

Days/Times: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM (other courses at varying days/times); all courses to be taught on ground in hyflex/hybrid models.

The successful candidate will have effectively taught undergraduate courses at the freshman level. Previous experience teaching statistics is required to teach MTH1111. Experience teaching hybrid or hyflex courses is preferred. Experience with R and RStudio, active learning, inquiry based learning, technology in the classroom, and on-line homework are particularly desirable.
