Position Overview: The Department of Sociology invites applications to teach eight sections of The Sociological Imagination (SOC1000), two sections of Social Problems (SOC1700), one section of Social Theory (SOC3000), one section of Race and Ethnic Minorities (SOC3330) and one section of Sociology of the Gender (SOC3800) during the fall 2021 semester. The Sociological Imagination is capped at 30 student, Social Theory at 15 students, and the other courses at 25.
Qualifications: College-level teaching experience is required; a PhD in sociology is strongly preferred.
