The School of Science and Engineering at Merrimack College is seeking to hire full-time tenure track faculty at the ranks of Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidates with an interest and background in robotics, mechatronics, or automation are strongly encouraged to apply. 

The department of Mechanical Engineering offers a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. With a newly renovated student innovation space, 3D printing and prototyping, as well as experimental testing laboratories and a machine shop, Mechanical Engineering has a growing and vibrant undergraduate program. 

The department of Electrical Engineering has been accredited for over 50 years, and maintains strong ties with industry. The department offers a BS in EE with an optional concentration in Power. A collaboration with Computer Science to offer a program in Computer Engineering began in 2015, with the first graduates anticipated in May, 2021. 

Qualifications:  Applicants for the position are required to have an earned doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related fields. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in both undergraduate and graduate teaching and pursue research and scholarship activities.
