Position Overview:  This multi-faceted position will report to the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications and will oversee project plans and scope objectives in order to facilitate and deliver high-level communication and marketing projects that meet the business and technical needs of the institution. The incumbent will coordinate internal resources; manage both vendor and internal client relationships; develop detail oriented project plans to monitor cost and track progress; ensure all projects are delivered on time and use diplomacy in order to move projects through completion.

  • Develop and oversee both marketing and communication project plans by partnering with department directors to achieve institutional, department and division goals.
  • Create and execute comprehensive marketing and communication plans that will attract and retain a growing undergraduate and graduate diverse student body.
  • Serve as the primary manager for implementing various communication and marketing tactics and initiatives for partners across campus.
  • Lead and develop the conception and execution of projects and campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Lead content, art direction, scheduling and staging of photography and video shoots for individual projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.
  • Participate in the collaborative process of content creation, design and implementation.
  • Enforce project schedules and cost to ensure flawless completion.
  • Provide project assistance for any other duties assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience – agency setting is a plus
  • Experience overseeing the production cycle of both print and digital
  • Experience managing external vendors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects at a time, at the highest level, with competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to self manage projects, multi-task and deliver projects on time
  • Innovative and has a passion for continued learning about latest industry trends, best practices and tools to be used by the department
