The School of Health Sciences at Merrimack College is seeking an innovative, self-directed and connected professional staff as an Experiential Education Program Manager to become part of our Academic and Student Services Center, beginning January 2022. The Experiential Education Program Manager is a 12-month, professional staff position with teaching responsibilities. Merrimack College is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Primary responsibilities include managing all aspects, including teaching, of the required undergraduate experiential internship course. The Experiential Education Manager will work with faculty, staff, employers, and community partners to establish, expand, and promote experiential education opportunities with a primary focus of internships for all undergraduate students in the School of Health Sciences. This position will report directly to the Assistant Dean of the Health Science Academic and Student Services Center. The School of Health Sciences offers undergraduate degrees in Exercise Science, Health Science, Nutritional Sciences, PublicHealth, and Rehabilitation Science.
1. Master’s Degree in a Health Science related field (e.g.; exercise science, nutritional sciences, public health, rehabilitation sciences)
2. Possess a minimum three (3) years of experience in Higher Education. Academic advising experience is a plus.
3. Experience coordinating community partnerships and placements for undergraduate educational experiential courses such as internship.
4. Experience teaching, managing and/or mentoring undergraduate students in educational experiential courses
5. Ability to foster an environment that values diversity, equity and inclusion
6. Strong verbal/written communication skills are essential.

Unless otherwise stated above, this is an on-campus position. This is not a remote or hybrid position as employees are essential in order to provide a fully on-campus, residential college experience for our students and the community.
