J1 Project – Information for Faculty

Merrimack Faculty - Prepare for Jenzabar One

Jenzabar One will bring a new experience for myMack and will replace the current CX system. The implementation of J1 will modernize core campus functions, create better efficiencies and streamline key processes for the entire campus community.

What You Need to Know

  • The system upgrade and migration begins on Wednesday, October 30, at noon and is scheduled to be completed November 25. During this time, myMack and CX will be available as read-only, and some purchasing and financial processing services may take longer due to manual processing during the migration.
  • Canvas will not be affected and everything currently done in Canvas will continue to work as it does today. Please note, during the migration period, email communication to students through myMack will not be available and faculty will need to use Canvas to communicate with students. For questions about your Canvas courses during the migration period, please contact CTIDE at [email protected].
  • Faculty Advisors will receive instructions from school Advising centers about course registration during the transition period.

    • myMack will have a new look, and the systems in place will be similar.
    • To view courses, enter grades, email course roster and more, faculty will access our new portal, J1 Web through a link that can be accessed on myMack.
    • Instructions for how to log in and use the new system will be communicated prior to November 25.
