Merrimack Staff - Prepare for Jenzabar One
Prepare yourself for the new Jenzabar One system, going live in November of 2024. This page has important information for Merrimack staff on how to prepare for go live, how to find information during go live when some systems are unavailable and what will be different post go live.
Important Dates for Staff
(now – October 31, 2024)
- Pay attention to your email for important updates about the J1 project and progress.
- TRAINING: You will be contacted directly by members of the J1 Project team if your job role requires specific training for J1. Prioritize this training, read training materials and watch videos as they are shared. All of this information is important to a smooth go live process.
- FISCAL PROCESSING – review the important dates below for details on purchasing and payments leading up to the transition period.
Monday, October 21, 2024:
- Purchase orders, invoices, payments, journal entries, credit card transactions and expense reports should be submitted by Monday, October 21 to ensure processing in CX before the migration begins.
All budget transfers should be sent to the Budget Office at [email protected]. - Budget Transfers received after Monday, October 21 will be processed in J1.
After Monday, October 21, items received will be processed manually and may take longer. - Regular processing will return when the new J1 system is live.
Tuesday, October 29, 2024, through Monday, November 25, 2024:
- October entries in CX will be closed at the end of the day on Tuesday, October 29.
- Manual processing will begin on Wednesday, October 30 and may delay checking, purchase orders, invoices, expense reports, check requests or wire transfers.

After the Upgrade is Complete
The upgrade is scheduled to be completed by November 25, 2024
PLEASE BE PATIENT
- As staff continue to work in and learn the new J1 system, processing will be slower than normal until people become fully comfortable.
- Please visit myMack at mymack.merrimack.edu for instructions on new processes and procedures.
- For any immediate fiscal concerns please contact the Office of Fiscal Affairs.
- Faculty should contact the Warrior One Stop for any questions regarding the new myMack and faculty functions.
