Merrimack College is a selective, independent college in the Catholic, Augustinian tradition whose mission is to enlighten minds, engage hearts and empower lives.
College is different from high school.
It seems obvious—but making the transition can be challenging. At Merrimack College, we provide a wide range of academic enrichment/support services to help you settle in, handle your work, and be a better student.
We offer workshops, tutorials, and personal academic counseling for anyone from scholarship students to those who are struggling. Our goal is to teach you the skills you need—before you run into trouble. No matter where you are in terms of grades, we can enrich your college experience by helping you balance activities, manage your time, focus more when studying, and do even better in your classes. And if you need extra assistance or are feeling overwhelmed, we can help with that, too.
Enriching Your Academic Experience
Academic enrichment/support services offered here include the Center for Academic Enrichment (including disability services, academic services for international and intercultural students, and study skills workshops) as well as the Mathematics Center and the Writing Center. These centers work collaboratively with faculty and the Division of Campus Life to contribute to the academic and life success of all Merrimack College students.
