Dr. Roger Gottlieb
Roger S. Gottlieb, professor of philosophy at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, is the author or editor of twenty-one books of ethics, political theory, religious studies, environmentalism and contemporary spirituality.
He is internationally known as a leading analyst of religious environmentalism and for his original accounts of spirituality in an age of environmental crisis and the role of religion in a democratic society.
His first work of fiction, Engaging Voices, received a Nautilus Book Award; as did Spirituality: What it Is and Why it Matters. Other books include This Sacred Earth, A Greener Faith, Joining Hands: Politics and Religions Together for Social Change, The Oxford Handbook of Religion and Ecology, Political and Spiritual, and Marxism 1844-1990.
