M.Ed. Fellowships

Our highly-selective, full-tuition fellowships enable you to teach, impact the lives of college students or make a difference in your local and global communities.

The Fellowship application opens September 1, 2016. Application deadline for all programs is February 1, 2017.

Course Schedule Selected with an advisor; courses may begin at any time. Selected by the Fellowship program; courses begin in Summer I (May)
Time to complete the program Varies, dependent on the number of courses taken during a semester. One calendar year
Practicum completion and placement (Teacher Education Fellowship only) Students are eligible for practicum when all academic requirements have been met, and all MTELs passed. Practicum typically occurs in the final semester, and coordinated through Merrimack. Completed while taking courses in the fall, spring, and summer I terms. Fellows are expected to be at their placements for the entire school year (end of August - end of June).

Health Insurance

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts mandates that all students enrolling in nine (9) or more credit hours must be covered by health insurance.

Responsibility of the student. Can be waived with proof of other insurance. Responsibility of the student. Fellows will be enrolled in more than 9 credit hours in the fall and spring semesters. Can be waived with proof of other insurance.
