The graduate programs of the Girard School of Business offer a limited number of graduate assistantships which link graduate study with earning and work experience.
We are no longer accepting Graduate Assistantship applications for the 2017-2018 Academic Year.
Graduate Assistants in either the Master of Science in Management or Master of Science in Accounting typically complete their degree part time, taking two courses for four semesters, and pursuing a business internship during the summer. During the fall and spring semesters, they work part time as a staff member of the Girard School of Business, gaining invaluable experience working with faculty members, staff and undergraduate students as an integral part of their graduate education. In addition to earning an hourly-rate salary, Graduate Assistants receive scholarships up to half-tuition.
The program helps to enhance academic study as well as professional development. The Graduate Assistantship for the Master of Science in Management is ideal for non-business students seeking additional work experience.
Students who are admitted into either the Master of Science in Management program or the Master of Science in Accounting program, and are interested in applying for a Graduate Assistantship must complete a supplemental application/essay for consideration.
