The graduate programs of the Girard School of Business offer a limited number of graduate assistantships which link graduate study with earning and work experience.
Assistantships for the fall 2016 term are now filled.
Graduate Assistants in either the Master of Science in Management or Master of Science in Accounting complete their degree part time, taking two courses for four semesters, and pursuing a business internship during the summer. During the fall and spring semesters, they work part time as a staff member of the Girard School of Business, gaining invaluable experience working with faculty members and undergraduate students as an integral part of their graduate education. In addition to earning an hourly-rate salary, Graduate Assistants receive scholarships up to half-tuition.
The program helps to enhance academic study as well as professional development. The Graduate Assistantship for the Master of Science in Management is ideal for non-business students seeking additional work experience.
Students who are admitted into either the Master of Science in Management program or the Master of Science in Accounting program, and are interested in applying for a Graduate Assistantship must complete a supplemental essay for consideration.
