    Erika Torkildsen ’21 is nothing short of a trailblazer. While pursuing her bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, Erika has taken a variety of leadership roles on campus, with groups such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers. She’s served as an advocate for women in STEM both on and off campus, and after completing a series of internships, has landed her first full-time offer as a systems engineer at Raytheon! Today, Erika joins us to discuss her career development, her favorite O’Brien Center events, and what’s next in her professional life.

  • Working Warriors: Alyssa Ardai ’21 Receives Full-Time Offer from PwC After Summer Internship

    Alyssa Ardai ’21 will be graduating this May, a full year ahead of her peers in the Class of 2018. An Honors Program student, Alyssa has been involved in a variety of clubs from the Merrimack Investment Fund to the Interfaith Alliance, and even the club figure skating team. The hustle is real—outside of Merrimack, Alyssa’s completed several volunteer jobs and internships that have led to her latest accomplishment: a full-time offer from PricewaterhouseCoopers, one of the top accounting firms in the world.

  • Working Warriors: Aidan Kennedy ’20 Lands Spectacular Co-op at Teradyne

    Aidan Kennedy ’20 exemplifies peak “involved Merrimack student.” While pursuing his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering with a mathematics minor, Aidan also held leadership positions in student government, WMCK college radio, and the Best Buddies program. Outside of this, he participated in Mack Gives Back, intramural frisbee, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers … just to name a few of his involvements! He’s a self-starter, and that work ethic has culminated in a great co-op with Teradyne!

    David Lambrou ’20 is a pillar of our Merrimack community, and we’re so happy to recognize his latest successes! After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, David wove together a portfolio and resume of his work on and off-campus that drew the attention of several employers, including Hasbro. He accepted their offer, and now serves as an associate reliability engineer within the company.

    Kira Cameron ’21 constantly raises the bar for fellow Girard School of Business students. On campus, she works with the Merrimack Investment Fund, while being an integral member of the Honors Program through her mentorship and student council guidance. With two Fidelity Investments internships under her belt, Kira sets sights on the full-time offer waiting for her after graduation: a financial analyst position at Raytheon!
