Valuable Resource

Every incoming first-year honors student has the opportunity to be matched with an honors mentor.

Students meet throughout the school year with their mentors, both in small groups and one-on-one. Mentors are a valuable resource, helping you:

  • Make the transition to college by showing you around campus and introducing you to various services available on campus.
  • Acclimate to the honors program and understand its requirements.
  • Navigate social and roommate issues or other situations that arise during the year.
  • Get involved with on-campus activities and become student leaders.
