2018-2019 Visiting Scholar
Ellen Fitzpatrick is serving as the institute’s 2018-2019 visiting scholar.
Ellen Fitzpatrick is a global agricultural economist who teaches Global Development, Program Evaluation and Economics for Public Service at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. She has 25 years in field research, program evaluation and university teaching/mentoring in Southeast Asia, the South Pacific, Latin America, Turkey and Africa.
Her current research focuses on the conceptualization and measurement of sustainable development in the design and evaluation of rural development programs in the Global South.
During her year in residence, Fitzpatrick will contribute a global perspective to the institute’s initiatives and help foster collaborations across campus and beyond.
