Merrimack College Moot Court
Participating in Moot Court will enhance your ability to think on your feet and improve your oral advocacy, analytical and critical-thinking skills.
These are all skills you’ll need in law school, other graduate study and your professional career.
Moot Court also lets you practice doing what lawyers do in court. In teams of two, you will argue constitutional issues in a hypothetical case as though the case were on appeal to the Supreme Court. You will make the case whether the lower appellate court’s analysis of the law was correct or incorrect.
You may take Moot Court twice for credit toward a political science major (four credits maximum).
