The Pre-Law minor is for students interested in attending law school, pursuing a law-related field, or who are just interested in learning about the law.

Our Pre-Law minor curriculum will help you develop critical thinking and analytical skills and expose you to the Socrative method used in law school.  The Pre-Law minor also has an experiential component to help students develop a stronger real-world understanding of the field of law.

Our alumni have gone on to work as attorneys in a variety of places such as the Department of Justice, Department of Youth Services and Department of Social Services. Others have gone on to careers as district attorneys, state court judges and law clerks, in-house counsel or contract negotiators for Fortune 500 corporations, attorneys in small, mid-sized and large law firms, attorneys for non-profit corporations and attorneys for state and federal agencies.
