Minor Requirements
Sociology minors take four (4) required courses and one (1) elective course for a total of five (5) courses.
The following four (4) courses are required of all Sociology minors:
- SOC1000 The Sociological Imagination
- SOC2000 Social Inequality – Class, Gender, and Race (SP)
- SOC3000W Social Theory (FA)
- SOC3100 Research Methods (FA)
The Department strongly recommends that Sociology minors take SOC3000W and SOC3100 by the end of their junior year.
Sociology minors’ one (1) elective may be chosen from the following:
