An original stage play I filmed and directed written by fellow senior Theatre Arts major Nicholas Lacroix. The play revolves around the life and times of a man named Stanley Lawson. Throughout the play we see Stanley grow from a young elementary school student into a member of the working class in the state of Kansas, all while dealing with every challenge that life throws his way.

Along Stanley’s journey, we witness the complicated relationship of his mother and father, Yvette and Peter Lawson; his development of a lifelong friendship with a young girl named Amber; and even his connection with a supernatural figure named Theodore, who has a mission to ensure Stanley lives an optimistic and upbeat life despite all the struggles he faces. Through all these struggles, Stanley finds not only what will make his life more satisfactory, but also how his actions can change the lives of the ones he cares about.
