CERL Website

Computer science majors designed a modern, sleek website for Dr. Sadegh Asgary’s Civil Engineering Research Lab (CERL).

About the Project

Overview

Carl Stanley and Kylene O’Neill designed and developed a professional-grade website for Dr. Sadegh Asgary’s Civil Engineering Research Lab (CERL) during their senior capstone course, advised by Prof. Stuetzle. Dr. Asgari acted as a client, describing site requirements and meeting with the team throughout the semester to comment on and critique their design.

The team researched and employed professional development and design techniques, using state-of-the-art tools, and produced a high-quality research website.

The website was developed using modern template techniques that utilize HTML5 and CSS3, as well as modern JavaScript modules such as Node.js and Python backend support. The site was styled and designed from the ground up.
