Graduate Career Resources
Offering a wealth of resources, the O’Brien Center for Career Development offers graduate career services and is committed to your career success.
The O’Brien Center works collaboratively with each program to create meaningful career development events while also taking an individual approach to achieving your goals. Merrimack’s experiential learning option for graduate students provides access to co-ops and internships in students’ field of study and coordinates with their class schedule. We assist with career development by connecting students with our strong and growing network of employers, mentors, and alumni. We also offer career fairs, professional development workshops, on-campus interviews, and extensive one-on-one counseling.
- Merrimack’s Graduate Cooperative Education/Internship program enables students to gain relevant work experience, apply their classroom skills in real-world settings, test drive different career options, and identify their own personal strengths and areas for improvement.
- The Graduate Student Immersion Program helps students define their career vision by exploring emerging interests and investigating opportunities for professional and personal growth. Students may opt to participate in a variety of career-related activities, including self-assessments, private career counseling, one-on-one interview training, and on-campus recruiting.
- Our extensive Career and Professional Development Resources equip students with the tools and knowledge they need to achieve success. From the Library Guide research tools to the Online Career Hub and InterviewStream – the online interview practice service, students can refine their skills, focus their job search, and make valuable industry contacts
