Reunion FAQs

Helpful Reunion 2018 Information

1.) What is Reunion Weekend?
Merrimack College proudly welcomes all alumni back to campus for Reunion Weekend in celebration of graduation anniversaries.  Each Reunion Weekend, hundreds of alumni and family members gather on campus for three days of celebration. It’s a wonderful time to reconnect with your classmates and alma mater.

In 2018, special programming will be offered for Warrior alumni celebrating milestone anniversaries: 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, and 2013.

Reunion Weekend events include the Friday night Warrior Welcome Celebration; Saturday morning and afternoon sessions showcasing Merrimack History, current students, alumni and faculty; Saturday evening Class Dinners, and much more!

2.) Who can attend Reunion?
Merrimack proudly welcomes all alumni back to campus for Reunion Weekend, and special programming is available for alumni in a milestone year.

Spouses and significant others are welcomed during all activities throughout the weekend.

Children and grandchildren are welcome to join Saturday lunch, but we are unable to accommodate children at the evening events or in on-campus lodging.

3.) Where should I park, and how can I navigate campus?
Parking will be available in the Sakowich Campus Center Parking Lot (Lot H).  For assistance or directions during the weekend, please visit our Registration area in the Sakowich Campus Center.  Special assistance is available to any guests who may need help in navigating their way around campus.

4.) What if I have special dietary needs?
Our chefs are able to accommodate special dietary needs at events where meals will be served. Please indicate your dietary needs, or those of any of your guests, when you register.

5.) Can I stay on campus?
Absolutely! We think it’s the best option during Reunion Weekend. You will have a chance to relive your Merrimack glory days in style: our residence halls look very different since your time on campus!

Reunion lodging options are made up of suites: most rooms contain two single beds, and share a hallway, bathroom, and common area with closely neighboring rooms.  You can bunk with a friend or your significant other, and stay near your favorite classmates, all while experiencing life in our newest on-campus residence halls.

In general, we try to group overnight guests in areas of the residence hall based upon class year.  If there are specific friends or alumni you would like to room with, please indicate their names on the online registration form. We have a small number of individual rooms with private bathrooms, which will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis by request.

On-campus housing is $40 per person, per night.  Linens, bath towels, and basic toiletries will be provided.  We encourage you to pack a fan, extra blanket or pillow, and any other items you may need during your stay.

To book on-campus housing, visit our registration page or call the Office of Alumni Relations at 978-837-5619.

If dorm life isn’t your style, we have reserved room blocks at two area hotels with discounted rates for alumni.

Saturday morning and afternoon activities are casual, and will be held both indoors and outside.  If you plan on touring campus, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.

Festive, cocktail attire is suggested for the Saturday evening events.
