We are excited to officially welcome our newest class of Merrimack Warriors and their families to campus! We have a full calendar of January Orientation activities planned to help you and your student get acclimated.

12-3 p.m. | Residential Student Check In - McQuade Library Residential students living on campus will check in with Admission staff, Hamel Health Center staff, receive their Merrimack ID Card, and move into their residence halls. |
2:15-3 p.m. | Family Reception - Merrimack Club Dining Room An opportunity to gather with other parents and families of incoming students. |
3 p.m. | Women’s Basketball Game - Hammel Court Join the Orientation Team as we support our Warriors on the court as they play Providence College. |

9-9:15 a.m. | Welcome - McQuade Auditorium Orientation kicks off with a welcome by Merrimack College leadership and our Orientation Team! Become immersed in the Merrimack culture and community and learn why every day is a great day to be a Warrior! |
9:20-10 a.m. | Mission and Merrimack - McQuade Auditorium Join Fr. Ray Dlugos to learn about the values upon which Merrimack was founded as expressed in the Mission and Vision Statement of the College, and the pivotal role that it plays on campus every day. |
10-10:45 a.m. | How to Best Support Your Warrior - McQuade Auditorium This session will be presented collaboratively between the Academic Success Center and Dean of Students Office and review connections across our community that help parents and families to stay close to your students while encouraging independence. |
10:45-11:15 a.m. | Coffee with the Deans - McQuade Library Parents and families can enjoy coffee with the opportunity to meet with the Academic Deans of Merrimack College. |
11:15 a.m.-12 p.m. | Warrior Connections - McQuade Auditorium This session will be presented collaboratively between Student Affairs, Athletics, and Student Employment to help share all opportunities of engagement across our campus. |
12-1 p.m. | Keeping Your Warriors’ Wellness and Safety A Priority - McQuade Auditorium Our Counseling and Wellness Center and the Police Department will share the most common ways that students’ mental health will be challenged in college, how to help students stay emotionally fit, and Merrimack campus safety. |
1-2 p.m. | Lunch - Crowe Executive Room Parents and family members have the opportunity to grab lunch. |
2-3 p.m. | Campus Business and Area Explorations Campus offices will be available for individual appointments to answer any remaining questions. |
