Orientation

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for Orientation?
First things first: let Merrimack know that you’re coming here by paying your enrollment deposit. Have you already done that? Terrific! We can’t wait to meet you!

Even though the enrollment deposit deadline isn’t until May 1, starting April 17, the Office of Admission will email all deposited students with instructions to set up MyMack, your student portal. You should receive an email within 2 days of depositing. If you don’t get an email please email the Office of Admission

Once you have enrolled in the Merrimack Password Management system, you will be able to:

  1. log into MyMack
  2. select MackTasks from your top menu bar
  3. register for Orientation

I see Session I on June 20-21 is full. What if that is the only session I can attend?
Please contact us by phone at 978-837-5175 or by email if you are unable to attend Orientation Session II or III.

Do family members attend Orientation?
Yes, but family members are not required to attend. The first day of Orientation has special sessions for family members. When you complete the Summer Orientation Registration form, we will ask you how many family members will attend.

Is Orientation mandatory?
Orientation is your official welcome to college and for you to prepare for your transition to Merrimack. Orientation is also a time to meet some of your classmates and learn everything you can about Merrimack. We will make attendance exceptions in cases of significant travel, extreme hardship or emergency. Please contact us by phone at 978-837-5175 or by email if you are unable to attend Orientation.
