Summer Orientation Student Schedule
Orientation is a great time to understand more about Merrimack, meet fellow incoming and current students and engage with staff and faculty.
Virtual Student Schedule
Times are Eastern Standard Time (EST)
10 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Open Office Hours with Resource Fair Partners
Various campus offices will be available to answer questions and connect students and families to key individuals and departments on campus.
11:15 a.m. - Transfer Student Session
Transfer students will have the chance to meet their student support staff and learn how to get the most out of Orientation in order to hit the ground running this fall. Students can also ask questions specific to being a transfer student.
12 p.m. - Welcome
Orientation kicks off with a live session welcome from College leadership and our Orientation Leader staff! Become immersed in the Merrimack culture and community and learn why every day is a great day to be a Warrior!
12:45 p.m. - Residence Life Session
Resident students will learn more about the benefits of the Merrimack College residential experience via a live session with members of the Residence Life Staff.
Commuter students will learn the ins and outs of being a commuter via a live session with commuter student support staff and fellow commuters.
1:45 p.m. - Make It Your Merrimack
Learn about Warrior pride and get enthusiastic about what it means to be a part of the Merrimack community. Recent alumni will address incoming students to speak about their Merrimack experience via a live session.
2:30 p.m. - Break
2:45 p.m. - Group Time with Orientation Leaders
Students will join their Orientation Leaders in live small groups and have the opportunity to meet fellow classmates and become better acquainted with Merrimack.
3:45 p.m. - Program Meetings
Students enrolled in the following programs are invited to learn about the program and its benefits via live sessions with their program directors: Honors, Compass, Promise, Dean’s Forum, Drive
5 p.m. - International Student Meeting (Session 4 only)
International students will have an opportunity to connect with current international students as well as support staff on campus regarding their transition.
