Position Overview
The Department of Computer and Data Sciences at Merrimack College invites applications for a Non-Tenure-Track Professor of Practice to begin Fall 2023. The successful candidate must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching at the college level and will be expected to teach 16 contact hours per semester, and take part in departmental service when applicable. While candidates with any expertise will be considered, primary consideration will be given to candidates with the ability to teach courses in web development, machine learning, data mining, or operating systems.
Responsibilities include:

A Master’s degree or higher in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field, and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level.

Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom; demonstrated interest in and experience with innovative pedagogies; and understanding of and experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion issues in STEM and beyond.
