Merrimack’s Response to COVID-19

Summer Classes Will Only Be Offered Remotely.

Merrimack College will continue with remote learning for all students for the summer semester.
Remote Learning for Students Continuity of Education for Faculty

Face Coverings Are Required While on Campus.

Under the State of Massachusetts COVID-19 Order No. 31, beginning Wednesday, May 6, all staff and faculty entering campus will be required to wear a face covering.

Housing, Board, Parking, Study Abroad Expenses.

Spring 2020 Graduation is Postponed 

It has become clear that holding a large, in-person commencement ceremony that more than doubles the normal residential and working population during an academic year on Merrimack’s campus has become more difficult due to the recent changes in the spread of COVID-19 across the country. At the recommendation of health experts and epidemiologists, the August 8, 2020 commencement ceremony will be postponed until further notice.

Campuswide Events Will Be Limited.

Following Merrimack’s Phase 1 Reopening on June 15, a limited number of on-campus events and visits are taking place. If you’d like to visit campus, please contact the Welcome Center

Student Support Services Remain Open Virtually.

All student support services remain open virtually. We are available to answer your questions and address your concerns by phone or email.

Non-Essential Personnel Are Working From Home. 

Merrimack College will be officially reopening with a phased reentry of limited employees on Monday, June 15, 2020.
