18th Annual St. Germain Memorial Lecture and Honor Society Inductions

Robert G. Bell, former senior civilian representative of the Secretary of Defense in Europe and defense adviser to the U.S. Ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, will deliver the 18th annual St. Germain Lecture, sponsored by the department of political science and the international studies program.

As senior civilian representative, Bell was responsible for planning, recommending, coordinating and monitoring Department of Defense policies, programs and initiatives throughout Europe.  As defense adviser, he was responsible for the formulation, coordination and presentation of defense department policies to the U.S. ambassador to NATO. 

Today, Bell serves as chief executive officer of National Security Counsel, a limited liability corporation consulting firm.

A reception will precede the talk at 6 p.m.
