“InterSurvival” Workshops Offered for International Students

The Center for Academic Enrichment and the McQuade Library are collaborating on a series of mini-workshops for international students.

  • K. Salemme

The purpose of the collaborative sessions is to extend the orientation process for our new international students, providing additional support and information of an academic nature.

There will be sessions on time management, navigating the American college classroom, finding materials in the library, using digital resources for research, and academic integrity.

Returning international students will assist Maura Shaffer, Academic Counselor for International  Students, Elizabeth Sarkodie-Mensah, Instruction Liaison Librarian for Graduate Programs, and Lyena Chavez, Head of Instruction & Outreach, in presenting the workshops, which will be held on Tuesday evenings in the Alden Classroom on the 3rd floor of McQuade.
