Dr. Herda Named AAPOR Roper Fellow

Dr. Herda has been named one of six Roper Fellows by the American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR).

Congratulations to Dr. Herda, who has been named one of six Roper Fellows by the American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR).

According to the AAPOR conference program, the prestigious Roper fellowship “is named for the late Burns ‘Bud’ Roper who provided a substantial bequest in his will to establish the Roper Award Fund. Roper Fellows are people whose primary work responsibilities are related to survey research or public opinion and who have recently started their careers.”

In addition to being named a Roper Fellow, Dr. Herda will present a paper at the 2016 AAPOR conference entitled “Documented or Undocumented? Qualitative Misperceptions about Immigrants in the United States.”
