HAMLET comes to the Rogers Center

Aquila Theater presents a high-voltage, exciting production of one of the world’s greatest stories.

Established in 1991, Aquila Theater Company has become one of the foremost Classical Theater Touring Companies in the United States and England. They have been touring the U.S. and international stages ever since, having scored major success with long running productions both on the road and off-Broadway.  They earned their success by continually challenging themselves - and their audiences - by breathing new life into what in lesser hands could be a simple re-creation of an ancient work.  Aquila Theater “takes the classics off their pedestals and presents them as live action, flesh and blood” wrote Dramatics Magazine about their work.

Aquila, known for its bold and exciting reinterpretations of classical plays and great works of literature, is no stranger to the Rogers Center.  They performed their critically acclaimed production of Ray Bradbury’s frightening masterpiece Fahrenheit 451 in 2013.  It was arguably one of the best productions in professional theater.  Around the nation, audiences were simply amazed by the work, as were the critics

For HAMLET, Aquila brings together six of the best young actors in London and New York to bring new life to what promises to be a high-voltage production. This is their ONLY Boston area performance.  To be, or not to be here?  Really, there’s no question!
