Merrimack Alumna Helps Coordinate Girl Scout Cookie Donations to Local Medical Workers

Julia Maggiacomo '18 and her Girl Scout troop are donating hundreds of boxes of cookies to health care workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even though Girl Scout Cookie season was cut short this year, local troops, like the one led by Julia Maggiacomo ’18, have come up with a way to make good use of the extra treats. They are delivering donated boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to health care workers on the frontlines who are fighting coronavirus.

“They are only six years old but I always say that they amaze me,” Maggiacomo said. “Because they’re so kind and willing to do things like this.”
