President Hopey and Lucas, along with a small group of Merrimack employees, visited some local graduating seniors to offer them well wishes. President Hopey drove the College’s food truck to the students’ homes to surprise them. He presented the seniors with special care packages while social distancing.

Merrimack Police Chief Michael DelGreco also joined in the celebration, flashing his police cruiser’s lights, playing the siren and announcing the graduates’ names over the intercom system.

Dean of Students Allison Gill held up a sign during the event while Kevin Salemme, director of media instructional services, captured the event on video.  John Waters, facilities & grounds manager, and Bethany LoMonaco, vice president of communications, also joined the rolling celebration.

The College has rescheduled Commencement for Saturday, August 8, 2020.
