Alana Anderson works as the Senior Assistant Director for Multicultural Programs at Babson College where she is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating innovative programs and administrative initiatives that emphasize and foster community awareness and inclusiveness for Babson’s diverse student population.   Alana received her doctorate from the Lynch School of Education Higher Education at Boston College and holds a Masters of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University and a Bachelors of Arts in Politics from Brandeis University.  Her research examines how black college women perform their race and gender on social media.  She has taught the first generation college student experience course in the Higher Education Program.
