Research Summary

I have worked for more than 20 years in high-tech and business management. At Bell Laboratories, I worked in research and development of optical communication systems, network management and survivability as well as in the early architecture development of integrated voice, data and video delivery to the home. As a market management director, I led a team culminating in a $1.2 billion contract win. My research included applications of partial differential equations and stochastic signal modeling of optical systems. At Merrimack College, I have designed and taught the Foundations in Math for Business I and II courses, and led the SMART team to a new technology-based delivery of the Concepts in Algebra course. I have also taught the math portion of the Summer Bridge program.
