Even as a Political Science and History major, writing has always been a passion of mine. From joining my high school’s newspaper, to later joining Merrimack’s The Odyssey chapter and the Honors’ Program newsletter, I have always gotten involved in writing oriented student organizations. I hope to use the skills I have learned over the years to assist students in the Writing Center, and incorporate those experiences into my future career. I aspire to teach History and Government in a secondary education school out of my desire to educate and help students succeed. Outside of the Writing Center, I am involved in many other student organizations, such as Student Government Association, and also work as a First Year Experience Student Mentor.
