Bradley Picard is currently working on his M.S. in Civil Engineering from the School of Science and Engineering. He is a 2017 graduate of Merrimack College where he earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Bradley was the Vice President of Merrimack’s American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the nation’s oldest engineering society, and was a student lecturer for the Civil Engineering Department’s Site Design course for three years. He has been on service trips to Haiti to increase access of clean water, and to Nepal to survey and repair structures, including a bridge, damaged by a catastrophic earthquake. Bradley has been conducting research in geotechnical earthquake engineering with James Kaklamanos, an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department who was recently recognized as one of the Top Ten New Faces of Civil Engineering by ASCE. Bradley is interested in working as a geotechnical or structural engineer.
