David Golden ’07
- Interim Director, Residence Life
I have worked in student affairs administration since 2007. I enjoy working in residence life because it gives me the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of students, faculty and staff all working towards the same goal: to provide housing in which engaging, supportive and safe communities develop. It also gives me the chance to impact students’ lives while learning, growing and having fun.
Prior to joining Merrimack, I was assistant director for community standards at Mount Ida College and, before that, residence director at Stonehill College.
I have served in a variety of positions with professional-development organizations, including treasurer and newsletter editor for the Boston Area College Housing Association; treasurer, corporate sponsor chair and registration chair on the NASPA Region I Conference Committee; and conference chair for the NASPA Region I annual conference.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, watching movies, spending time with loved ones and attending concerts (especially Jimmy Buffett).
