Profile

Marie E. Galinski retired in 2013 as superintendent of the Beverly Public Schools, culminating 19 years in public education. During those years, she served as assistant superintendent in Beverly and as an elementary-, middle- and high-school principal in the Worcester Public Schools. 

Galinski also served 24 years in private education for the Archdiocese of Boston as a middle-school teacher and principal in the Massachusetts communities of Lynnfield, Haverhill and Andover. She has taught as an adjunct professor for more than 23 years at Salem State University and Worcester State University before joining Merrimack.

Galinski now serves as a consultant for the Bay State Reading Institute and the Massachusetts Department of Education Performance Assessment for Leaders.
