Associate Professor of Marketing Cathie Rich-Duval has served as the faculty adviser to the Merrimack chapter of the American Marketing Association for more than 20 years.
Rich-Duval came to Merrimack from industry, with expertise in global marketing. For over a decade, Prof. Rich-Duval developed and implemented a unique international marketing program at Merrimack, where the experience takes the student beyond the classroom and into the corporation in a foreign environment.
She is an author and frequent speaker/discussant on global-trade issues and international business education at many global business and academic conferences.

Her practical business experience includes current real estate marketing and management consulting; and an appointment by the Mayor of Beverly to the Beverly Trash and Recycling Committee (conducting research and survey design for study, analysis and implementation). Previous work experience has included the founding and operation of Logan Trading Co., Inc., an international marketing consulting and import/export firm which was also certified by the State of Massachusetts as a WBE (Women Business Enterprise) and a SBE (Small Business Enterprise); a three year tenure at the Massachusetts Port Authority where she worked in Foreign Trade organizing and implementing trade missions for Small Business Enterprises; and Creative Department Manager at Kenyon & Eckhardt International Advertising Agency.
