Jennifer Prisco is a current graduate student at Merrimack College obtaining her Master’s degree in Elementary Education. She graduated from The University of Rhode Island in 2013 with a BA in Communications, where she was awarded the communication department’s Excellence Award. She was also inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa.

After college, Jen worked for several years in social and behavioral services in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts as an ABA therapist. She decided to obtain her masters in teaching because she loves working with children and teaching them new skills. Jen comes from a family of teachers, most notably her father, aunt, and great uncle, who have had long, rewarding and successful teaching careers.

Jen has a deep interest in inclusive classrooms, where all children can reach their fullest potential. She is also currently obtaining her BCBA to become a board certified behavioral analyst, in order to work in greater depth with children who are on the Autism spectrum and have learning disabilities. Jen looks forward to working as a teacher, professor and therapist in the future.
