- Graduate Ambassador, M.Ed., Community Engagement Fellowship Program
Megan McCoy is currently in the Community Engagement Fellowship program and is working as the Community Outreach Fellow at the Rogers Center for the Arts at Merrimack. Previous to entering the program she earned her degree in human development with a focus in education here at Merrimack. During her undergrad, she was an orientation leader, a wellness peer educator, the school’s Zumba instructor and the president of the dance club. While staying heavily involved in her academics and community at school, she also worked at the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence as the dance instructor, teaching classes and providing field trip and performance opportunities for the children there.
Throughout all of her experiences, Megan has recognized her passion for helping children and using her love for the arts as a tool to connect with them and help them succeed. After completing her graduate studies Megan hopes to continue to help children flourish in all aspects of their lives including their health, well-being and academic, social and individual success.
