Catherine Meeks teaches Electronic Publishing and Computer Illustration.

Professional Experience

Catherine’s career has been in graphic design and illustration, as well as fine art. Projects have included a scholarly legal journal, multilingual publications, textbook development, map creation for an international hotel group, and cover design and illustration for book publishers.

She is a co-founder of the Acton Open Studios in Acton, MA, and the recipient of two Massachusetts Cultural Council grants. Catherine has also won numerous awards for her pastels and oil paintings.

Catherine has also developed one hybrid and two online courses in Typography and Illustration for a state university.

In addition to her freelance graphic design work, Catherine is a fine artist, working  in pastels and oils. She has won many awards for her work.

Catherine Meeks grew up on Elm Street in Andover, MA, just down the street from Merrimack College. She received a BFA with an Illustration major from Massachusetts College of Art & Design.
