Marie Galinski earned an Ed.D. in administration and supervision from Northeastern University, an M.Ed. in school administration from Salem State University and a bachelor’s from Merrimack College.
Since 2013, she has directed the Teacher Education Fellowship Program and the Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies for Educational Leadership at Merrimack’s School of Education and Social Policy, and has been an adjunct at Salem State University and Worcester State University. She previously served for 19 years as superintendent of Beverly, Massachusetts, public schools, where she also served as assistant superintendent; as a principal in the Worcester, Massachusetts, public schools; and as a teacher and principal in schools of the Archdiocese of Boston.
Galinski consults for the Bay State Reading Institute and the Massachusetts Department of Education’s Performance Assessment for Leaders.
