Valerie Bell has held senior international executive management positions in several Fortune 500 firms and has served as a director on more than 40 national and international boards, as well as teaching in Canada and the United Kingdom.
She has presented at 14 major international conferences and has five papers undergoing peer review in leading management and entrepreneurship journals. Her research interests are international entrepreneurial opportunities and internationalization processes, the role of serendipity in management and innovation, and the acquisition of knowledge, focusing on multinational firms in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
