Justine Bulgar-Medina

Justine is presently a doctoral candidate in Sociology and completing her dissertation with an anticipated defense and graduation in 2017.  Her teaching and research interests include research methods (particularly survey methodology and statistics), social stratification, and the intersection of minority identity with life outcomes.  Her dissertation seeks to examine self-identification practices of individuals in the workplace and their self-reported workplace experiences.  The work aims to both contribute to the understanding of identity practices of multiple minority persons and further understand how these identities influence experiences in the specific social context of the workplace.
