Professional Experience

Dr. Jack Amariglio has taught Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Introduction to Economics, Intermediate Microeconomic Theory, Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory, U.S. Economic History, Economic Development, Marxian Economics, and International Economics.

A highly accomplished scholar, he was one of the founders of the interdisciplinary journal, Rethinking Marxism, served as its initial editor from 1988 to 1997, and remains on the editorial board to this day. 

Research

Professor Amariglio has published widely on the philosophy and history of economic thought, as well as on the intersection of economics and culture.

In addition to numerous journal and book articles, he has co-authored, with David Ruccio, Postmodern Moments of Modern Economics, published by Princeton University Press.
