Four Merrimack College music students will travel to Anaheim, California this January to participate in the 2026 NAMM Show, the music industry’s largest international trade event.
Giovana Ferro ’27, Evan Moscariello ’26, and Nick Peters ’26 have each been awarded the Lamond GenNext Fellowship, a competitive honor given to college students who demonstrate outstanding promise in music and leadership. In addition, Audrey McGill ’25, M’26 will return to the NAMM Show as an official intern, continuing her involvement at a professional level.
Presented by the NAMM Foundation, the Lamond GenNext Fellowship includes complimentary passes to the show, a travel stipend, and full access to industry panels, product demos, live performances, and networking opportunities with professionals from across the music, sound, and event tech world.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to see our students selected as NAMM Lamond Fellows this year,” said Dr. Andrew Cote, Assistant Professor of Music at Merrimack and a previous NAMM presenter. “The Lamond Fellowship represents the very best in creativity, leadership, and passion for the future of music, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch our students step into this national spotlight. Their success is a reflection not only of their own hard work and vision but also of the vibrant, supportive community we’re building here at Merrimack.”
Held annually in Anaheim, the NAMM Show hosts over 100,000 musicians, educators, manufacturers, and innovators. Whether students are interested in performance, technology, education, or business, the experience provides an unparalleled window into the future of the music industry.
This is the second time Merrimack students have been selected for the Lamond Fellowship program, underscoring the College’s growing presence in national music education and industry leadership.
